Songreaver News!

The Frostwoven Crown

Hello everyone! Sorry about the long delay on any news, but the manuscript for Book Four is finally finished and is now in the hands of my Beta Reader. I hope to have the e-book available as soon as the final edits are done, and I’m finished with the cover art.

I thought you might enjoy a glimpse of the rough layout for the cover. I’m sure I’ll probably tweak the sketch quite a bit before I start painting, but it’s always fun just to get something roughed out.

The Necromancer’s Nephew Audiobook

In other news, our audiobook production of “The Necromancer’s Nephew” is in its final stage of production. Thanks to the great voice actor, my old friend, Heath Allyn, Garrett’s world comes to life in an all new way. He’s done an amazing job of portraying these characters, and I’m really looking forward to sharing it with you.

Thank you for your patience. This is an exciting time in the world of Rhaema!

    1. Nothing certain yet. My Beta Reader is still sewing up all the plot holes for me and making me look like a far better writer than I am. 8)

  2. I love this series! Such great reads, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the Frostwoven Crown. Keep it up!

    1. Unfortunately, my Beta Reader is a bit overwhelmed with projects at the moment, and Book Four is quite a bit longer than any of the previous installments that I’ve asked her to read. Still, she does a fantastic job, so I don’t want to rush her on it.

      Sorry about the delay.

  3. Love these books can’t wait for the next one. It really pulls you in and makes believe you are there too.

    1. The cover art is done. I’ve gotten the feedback from my Beta Reader. Now I’m just going through the final edits and polish, agonizing over calling it ready to set loose upon the world. If all goes well, I’m hoping to send it to Amazon for approval by this time next week.

      Wish me luck.

    1. Hi, Jay!

It’s really too early to tell at this stage in the writing process, but I should probably be finished writing book 5 by sometime next summer.

    1. Heh, heh, I wish I could write these things as fast as you can read them. 8)

I’m still hoping to have the first draft of book 5 finished by the end of summer, which, I hope, will lead to a holiday release for the finished book.

      Thank you for your patience!
